The last couple of green trees left ~ holding out against the ravages of autumn 🍃🌳

Most other trees around town have lost all their autumn leaves and are just left with bare branches.

Behold! The bounty of my little vegetable garden! 🥕🫜

So, first year growing vegetables in containers on our patio. Some things worked (yay carrots, red onion & beetroot) some things didn't (teeniest sweet potatoes I've ever seen).

Never mind, it all helps me plan for next year 😊

Yesterday's haul of goodies from Newport Food Festival ☺️

Some Welsh classics ~ Bara Brith, cheese and rum.

Stumbled on a lovely little gothic nook while exploring Newport yesterday.
