In Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, the Dragon Driftway takes place on a giant dragon based on Gobblegut from Super Mario Galaxy 2. The full dragon is never seen in-game all at once. Here is the track model with everything but the dragon removed.

I've been working on Boardwalk Blast the past few days and it's getting close to completion. Was concerned this one would be pretty weak, but I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out.

If you go on Google images and type "Rocket Launcher Dragon" you will find almost 0 images of a dragon holding a rocket launcher.

Welp… guess I’ve spent at least 10 hours of my life watching this cutscene, how ‘bout you guys?
Since the star collection and post-star collection cutscenes in Super Mario Galaxy 2 have an average length of 30 seconds and a full playthrough collects 240 stars, the player spends at least 2 hours per playthrough simply watching Mario collect stars.

Gonna say my game has a “Super Mario World artstyle” from now on.
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

First game priorities:
- Unique mechanics in each level
- Fine-tuning the difficulty curve to suit your target audience
- Bosses that take full advantage of their level’s mechanics

Second game priorities:
- Glue factory level
- Fish-based playable character
- Dragons

Jagons are a variety of NPC you will encounter in Danger Cliff 2. They've adapted to live in rough canyons, deep seas, and tall towers that few others would dare to call home. Despite the rough environments they inhabit, they're actually pretty chill. Be sure to say "hi" when you see them!
