Amtrak has announced the Hoosier service between Chicago and Cincinnati starting on June 2, 2025, supplementing the existing Cardinal service. Trains will depart Chicago in the morning and from Cincinnati at midday. Coach fares will start at $30 each way for Chicago-Cincinnati.

NIMBYs in Cincinnati's Clifton neighborhood objected to a Hamilton Ave BRT stop in their downtown area. This has to be one of the more comical list of reasons I've seen.
