So actor Simu Liu just expressed how he sees the kids who grew up reading comics, that we were, in fact, “the misfits and the weirdos and the underdogs that grew up reading comic books”.

And, apparently we “didn’t fit in.”

Anyone else feel like he has no idea what he’s talking about?

Plus, Simu Liu hypes it up as 'a love letter to the entire genre of superhero movies'.

Don’t care who wants to demolish part of the White House - it’s a ridiculous, disrespectful, grostesque act, especially when it doesn’t benefit the public one iota. $250+ million??? And don’t tell me it’s privately funded … bullshit. Even if it were , it would come with strings.

Who knew VEEP and Idiocracy were as accurate as 1984?

Once the Orange Regime is out (sooner than MAGA thinks) that ballroom monstrosity can be torn down. The East Wing, standing since 1902, can be rebuilt -White House back to its former respected and honored state, all gold bling removed, portraits restored. And we’ll get the Trumps to pay for it.

The new ICE song by Jesse Welles nails it.

ICE isn’t recruiting heroes, it’s recruiting the bitter, the rejected, the ones desperate for a badge to cover their failures.

Losers with power become the most dangerous kind.

Give this misanthropic baby man nothing, ever. Imagine horning in on Machado’s efforts! He’s so obsessed with Obama, it’s pathetic.

Trying to remember any of the names of all those horror and ninja films in the 80’s where the killer would slice and dice victims with those “razor sharp” escalator blades of death?

Great news for aggressive squirrels who may or may not be attacking Marin County residents who’ve been feeding them: though the rodents are born here in the States, they do not yet have the right to vote, so Trump not likely to seek their extermination.

“President Biden is right.
Political satire is one of the oldest and most important forms of free speech. It challenges those in power while using humor to draw more people in to the discussion.
That's why people in influential positions have always targeted it for censorship.” - Brendan Carr, 2022

Fascists love AI. With it, you control independent thought and creativity of intellect. It puts me in mind of 1984: there were no more books, art, poetry , cinema, storytelling. The Proles read pornography and listened to songs written by machines. Orwell tried so hard to warn us.

In honor of #batmanday, and the onset of Fall, I’m sharing art from “ Six Fingers”, my 2015 spooky Batman yarn from Legends of the Dark Knight 85-88 ( digital series). DC has seen fit to never collect in a print edition but I’m always hopeful : ) it was a story percolating in my brain for a decade.

Kind of a big day for this funnybook maker - I’m probably nervous enough to not want to run into comic shops today and see the reactions - so I’ll stay home, work in the studio and see what comes back - but very excited to see the book out !

I’ll pass, thanks. The film stands as it is, and it’s a masterpiece of human creativity. we don’t need any program or its builders to mess with that. It’s not lost footage they’re promising, - it’s made- up slop. AI is the pink slime of big tech.

Comics creators on both sides of politics often walk a line. Livelihood depends on readership. It’s a brave creator who takes a public stance & risks alienating readers. Below, an example of a controversial stance. Not everybody agreed with this back then. We’ve since cleared that up. Or have we?
