I was honored to join transportation advocates to launch the SMART Initiative campaign. They are gathering voter signatures to qualify it for the 2026 ballot. With federal transportation funding uncertain, our local community is rising to the occasion to protect our public transit.

It was great to join the Marin County Democratic Party yesterday. We talked about all that we accomplished in the legislature this year - including the 12 bills I've sent to the Governor's desk this year to improve the lives of Nor Cal residents - & the importance of passing Prop 50 this November.

It was nice to join the Lake County Fair Opening Blue Ribbon Dinner yesterday in Lakeport. The Fair always brings the community together while supporting local farmers and other businesses. I'm proud to author AB 258, a bill that would help secure resources for our county fairs.

What's better than salmon BBQ during the 4th of July weekend? Salmon BBQ for a great cause! I was honored to join the Salmon Restoration Association today in Ft. Bragg for the World's Largest Salmon BBQ. They're dedicated to protecting salmon populations in Mendocino County.
