Anger Over Starvation in Gaza Leaves Israel Increasingly Isolated www.nytimes.com/2025/07/31/w...

This articule is ludicrously sympathetic to the Rogue Genocidal State and of course talks about Palestine as if it all started a few years ago, but the numbers it presents are very interesting.

So! SFBC admin John Grayshaw has researched the ‘Orphan Stories’ from Harlan Ellison's Last Dangerous Visions.
What happened to the stories JMS didn't use; would any of them see the light of day or were they lost? Here is our attempt at sone answers:

This was a surprisingly good read; genuinely alien aliens, good writing, a curious writing history and a satisfying ending.

'City of Peace'; Lisa Goldstein. A short, straightforward piece about visitors touring Jerusalem with two guides, one Israeli, the other Palestinian. In the background, they learn of first contact with aliens. The title is satire or sarcasm; Jerusalem is the opposite of the city of peace. Wonderful.
