Despite voters in the predominantly blue areas trying to save the state from itself, this is spot on.
As a Missouri resident, I could see everything that’s happening coming a mile away because they already did it to my state. Defunded schools, kicked kids off Medicaid, refused the will of voters, attacked marginalized communities, and sold off farmland to foreign companies.

I would like for people who actually studied various fields at length to be the ones making crucial decisions about those fields, in benefit to the greater good.
Unpopular opinion but I would like the government to not be dismantled and I would like to be able to get a flu shot.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.
