one of my favourite things about the Berlin Botanical Gardens is the fact that they have humongous greenhouses. there are many things i love about the gardens, like the soft sweet smell of the east asian greenhouse 🌺

Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche. ⛪️ i've wanted to visit this monument for a while but it was always closed. it's nice that it's now more open to the public because before then i really didn't know much about quite a striking part of Berlin.

also has a lot of art based on places in Germany & Berlin, so seeing visual references of Berlins past after walking around museum island is quite thought provoking, in a way
