At approximately 10 a.m. on Friday, Lily Sullivan, age six, and Jack Sullivan, age four, were last seen. The youngsters were not kidnapped, according to the police. Four drones and two helicopters operating in the region on Sunday are equipped with sensors that can detect body heat.

On April 10, the Southwest Nova RCMP SCEU executed a search warrant at a home on Hwy. 203 in Ohio. Officers safely arrested a man and seized cocaine (1.1kgs), cannabis (3.3 kgs), unstamped tobacco (60K cigarettes), cash ($50K), paraphernalia associated to drug trafficking, and a machete. The incident happened around 9:10 p.m. on March 19 near Bay and Dundas streets. According to police, the suspect entered a store, placed several items into a basket, and left it near the front of the business. When an employee picked up the basket, the suspect allegedly assaulted them to retrieve it. Police say the suspect then sprayed both staff members with an unknown substance before fleeing the scene with the stolen items.

Three individuals have been charged following a joint investigation by Calgary and Edmonton police into a provincial drug trafficking network.
The investigation began in March 2025, when Calgary's District 4 Operations Team started looking into a suspect believed to be involved in drug trafficking. Officers later identified additional individuals allegedly distributing drugs in both Calgary and Edmonton. On March 15, two people were arrested at a residence on Sovereign Common SW, located west of Crowchild Trail. During a search of the home, police seized approximately 12 kilograms of drugs, $30,000 in cash, and luxury items including high-end jewelry and designer handbags, which investigators believe were purchased with proceeds from drug trafficking.
