The owls at the wilderness park yesterday looked particularly sad. I would be too in a cage the size of a large room when I was built to have several square miles of territory.🦉

Went to a wildlife park with friends today but the highlight has to be this classic Pizza Hut! They had the Book-It posters and everything!!!

Gingerbread Lane 2025. It was his first time making one & I didn’t realize it was also my sister & brother-in-law’s first time too. It’s nice being part of someone’s first time experiencing something (even if it’s the frustration of slow setting icing)- also the start of a new family tradition.

I really should be on like an inept gift wrapping talk show. I managed to use double the amount of paper needed and still end up with uncovered spots. I end up having to do weird folds like this and half a roll of magic tape. For rectangular hard cover book. I should stick to gift bags.

In honor of the last #mushroommonday of this semester before winter break, I offer the #fungifriends this wall o’shrooms from the Heart of the Forest near Port Angeles, WA. They were growing on the underside of a large span of roots from a fallen tree. It was beautiful. 🍄📷

The AC is on full blast on my end of the building despite being a lovely outside. I could probably keep yogurt shelf stable in my office if I wanted. Thats ok. Only two more hours to go.
