in a way, dating right now seems like the most logical response to what's going on; finding connection, community, love, companionship, and shared dreams and aspirations.
at the same time, it seems rather absurd; like what are we gonna do, meet under the LRAD and kiss in the chemical control agent?

my cat and i had The Moment.....you're in the bathroom using the toilet and your cat has decided that is the time they need to use it to. so they come in, all casual-like, gingerly enter their litter box and then just make steady eye-contact with you while peeing 😂😹

i acquired some new art recently, and finally got a frame for it that i like, so now i need to hang it. that will require a strategic rethinking of my hanging art currently, and probably changing two rooms to get it all set up and displayed properly.

The Secret Of N.I.M.H. is such a brilliant film. We honestly just don't see that kind of story telling in animation aimed at young adults, and as times passes, the power of that film simply increases.

Last night he jumped up on the bed and slept on me for the first time 🥰 He's already got loud purrs so this was quite delightful :)
Also, he's learned to weave through my legs as I'm walking, which is probably scarier for me than for him 😂

there is, in fact, a proper way to cook hash browns. mostly i don't like them because so many places prepare them where the outside is crispy and the inside is hardly cook, often close to being raw. 😖 you have to go low with the heat and slow with the cooking time so they get properly crisped
