Just spit-ballin' but if every mass layoff required execs to take responsibility and lose their positions too (and lose their retention bonuses), I wonder if we would see less layoffs? I suspect other solutions would appear somehow
They just get that next bonus because the spreadsheet was positive, and then start the cycle again.
