a three panel sketch of the character sinkdog (originally by daleport996) laying on a cluttered, filthy counter. she's surrounded by dirty dishes, and her basin is full of dishes and dirty dishwater, which trickles out as she sits up on her elbows, looking exhausted. in the next panel she is throwing a dish and leaning forward, causing her contents to come crashing out of her onto the floor. in the third panel she's standing, tethered to the counter by a drainpipe, looking at the shattered mess of dirty dishes and dishwater spattered on the floor. the remnants of her basin pour down her legs. the sink in a disabled household is a constant source of stress and yuckiness and i wanted to make some sinkdog fanart with that bit of pain in it. we don't usually see her all gross and dirty and miserable. someone on tumblr talked about how sinkdog is kinda cathartic because you scoop all the yucky parts out of the girl to make her into an object of cleanliness (and how it's ironic because she's kink art) and it had me thinking about how sinks are also yucky. feeling like even if you scrape yourself hollow, girlhood can still feel dirty. inescapable. plus the torment that you'll never be really done doing dishes because more dirty dishes are produced daily haha

(this is about how it is embarrassing to face yourself or show off like this and how it helps to use layers of abstraction - the farther from me the less worried the character becomes.)

it was only a matter of time before i put him in a little outfit
drawing of my fursona (blue lop eared critter with a long fluffy tail and antennae) in a little jester outfit. he's got a hood that fits his ears and antennae, a pointy neck ruffle with pompoms, puffy sleeves, and the classic puffy pants with jingly boot leggings. the whole costume is split down the middle in classic alternating black and white (the white has a pale diamond print) with yellow-gold accents. it goes nicely with his blue fur. a detail shot shows his hood has pompoms running down the back of each ear.

oc stuff for december
doodles of a nondescript guy in a big unwieldy christmas tree costume. his face and arms are barely sticking out, and his legs are stuck in one tube for the tree trunk. he can barely shuffle with it on and falls over flat easily. couple drawings of my christmas elf oc, Tinsel. she is small, scrawny, and looks kinda haggard. in one she is in her work uniform (classic christmas elf costume) and in another she sits alone at home in a ratty shirt and holey socks, head in hands, with her trash and roach, thinking "my elf rent is due" a drawing of my reindeer oc holly in a cute christmassy cardigan. she's holding up a star ornament.

a couple of sketches of my reindeer oc, holly. she's in the classic reindeer-harness themed strappy bondage gear and nothing else. in one drawing she's leaning forward, pulling against a collar/leash. in another she's holding up a string of decorations. a couple of conveniently positioned star and tree shapes hanging from the string are covering her nips. sketch comparing my oc nacre to my oc holly. holly and nacre used to share a body type - slim and busty, so i've filled holly out a bit since last year.

weird people fall in love with each other all the time

I thought the message was too human to let it be diluted + overshadowed by typical online whataboutisms and wanted to redo + reclaim it with more touches of the furry fandom, esp being a furry myself. It's love. For some, the love of your life is in the corner of a boring furcon panel room -- even if they don't have the same "interests," it's care that bridges the gap.

I'm making my own website to have a real proper homepage and I'm torn about how integrated/out in the open I want my nsfw art to be on it... part of me wants to have it all there and another part is nervous about how findable that is to family or convention applications and stuff sobs
