The game yesterday was rough; it was hot af outside, and we did so many scrums (at one point later in the game, we did 5 in quick succession 😭). But, I apparently did well! Not bad for only my second game!

I know I haven’t been posting much as of late. I’ve been out of the gym since end of July, as I’ve joined a local LGBTQ+ rugby team, and hav been learning how to play. It’s -wildly- different than anything else I’ve ever done, and I’m letting my body adjust and recover between practices/games. :)

When I got out to my car, post-gym, I caught a glimpse of muscle definition in my reflection, and had to pause. I have such difficulty seeing changes in myself, but can see them so easily in others. That I was able to see it in me, even for a moment, was surprising. (Pics are post-workout today)
