I have not followed this band's progression over time. But this just feels like well-matured hardcore, refined over decades. Thanks to #metalsky @gordonskramzy.bsky.social for the rec.

This is still quite good. Dreamy synth and simple riffs. Chill and somber. #metalsky

Digging this and their 2020 release, Vernal. Various influences and mix of trash/doom/black metal. Killer mix of vocals - though prefer the 2020 vocal production over this one - sounds like someone screaming into a metal box. #metalsky

I'd like to say that I am very tolerant of many types of Metal, but in reality, about 50% depends on whether I vibe with the vocals.
The riffs can be insane, but if im not feeling the vocals, I'm having a hard time. #metalsky

Agree with the mumblings on #metalsky re: Ancient Death. This album has some bangers on it.
