Bad shit happens when the military comes into to a volatile situation. This reminds me of a story from the 1992 riots in Los Angeles, to which some Marines deployed. I knew one of them and he told this story I also saw elsewhere — absent his telling it I would have assumed it was apocryphal.

This is a concerning milestone. Bringing new investigations and prosecutions is different than just dismissing cases against allies.

Everyone’s excited for the Super Bowl. I am too, but I can’t ignore what local news Orleanians are saying. I keep seeing locals posting that most of the money is being spent at corporate pop-ups. And local businesses outside of French quarter are slow.

After RFK jr’s confirmation hearing, I think we can all agree he’s going to be a terrible HHS secretary. But where we may differ in opinion is I also believe he looks like reanimated fried chicken back to seed revenge on humans.
