Wow. #starfleetacademy ep 6 might be the best yet. The needs of the many… I actually teared up over a comic book 😕. Giamatti is brilliant and the new bad aliens are scary as Reavers. Is that what the small fireflies were about🤔. High stakes that delivered. This show just gets better. #startrek 🖖

This Palme d’Or winning Iranian 🇮🇷 movie is a hard watch at times. Dealing with the subject matter of torture, morality, and vengeance. Slightly comedic at points you really do t know the outcome until the last frame, and maybe not even then.

Just finished ep. 5 #starfleetacademy I would have called it ‘Tears of the Prophets’. Made me laugh out loud many times and get teary eyed on several more. ‘Wait, he causes a riot’ was perhaps the best line. Thank the Prophets she didn’t delete the log at the end or I would have lost it.

I have started alternating watching the classic and the rebooted Battlestar Galactic #battlestargalactic #bsg I watched the original series as a kid and own it on DVD in a Cylon box. Loved the reimagined series when it came out.

Anyone interested in the American civil rights movement or the history of cinema should read this. Well researched. The author does a good job of framing the discussion. Compares and contrasts the two protagonists. And yes I have seen the movie.

Truly disturbing. Not a big fan of torture but I suppose it was necessary to the plot. Ralph Fiennes was incredible. Here is an actor who just throws himself into a role. SPOILER: What happens when Samson’s antipsychotic drugs wear out ?

Just finished both episodes and am really liking it. Don’t understand the hate at all. Lots of action in the first episode and lots of personal drama in the second. Nice balance of characters. Great seeing the Doctor again. And some nice little bits of fan service, but not to much.

I totally missed seeing this movie in the theatre. Not sure why, I generally like Will Farrell. I think they captured the male ethos of the 70s down pat. 😆 A truly funny movie. Glad I finally watched it.

I have never seen an R rated Danish animated movie before and hope to never see another one. Are the Danes 🇩🇰 ok? Truly insane movie with lots of thongs and nipple piercings. At one point the villain is spanking his own backside to get his house to move. 😬

Sir Anthony Hopkins, Mick Jagger, Emilio Esteves, Rene Russo is a weird combination that does not work. Neither does the plot. Dystopic 2009 with dumpster fires, much like this movie is. I’m not sure if Jagger ever ‘acted’ again.
