Wow. #starfleetacademy ep 6 might be the best yet. The needs of the many… I actually teared up over a comic book 😕. Giamatti is brilliant and the new bad aliens are scary as Reavers. Is that what the small fireflies were about🤔. High stakes that delivered. This show just gets better. #startrek 🖖

I’m in my 60s and started watching ST in reruns as a kid. Then the movie came out and I was stoked. At uni TNG came out. Hated the fact an android was allowed on the bridge. Grow to love Data. Hated that a carton sitcom was coming out. Watched the first episode and laughed my ass off. ❤️ Academy

This Palme d’Or winning Iranian 🇮🇷 movie is a hard watch at times. Dealing with the subject matter of torture, morality, and vengeance. Slightly comedic at points you really do t know the outcome until the last frame, and maybe not even then.

True Story. I was in Vancouver BC in the 90s at the exhibit on Grouse Mountain. It was sponsored by Fuji the Japanese film company. Showed the early days of Vancouver, WWI, the Depression, the 50s, 60s, to present. Something missing though 🤔 Also I’ll have no one speak ill of the Emissary

Just finished ep. 5 #starfleetacademy I would have called it ‘Tears of the Prophets’. Made me laugh out loud many times and get teary eyed on several more. ‘Wait, he causes a riot’ was perhaps the best line. Thank the Prophets she didn’t delete the log at the end or I would have lost it.

Of course watched Groundhog Day what else would one watch this week. And BSG I was feeling nostalgic. Housemaid was the new thing.

I have started alternating watching the classic and the rebooted Battlestar Galactic #battlestargalactic #bsg I watched the original series as a kid and own it on DVD in a Cylon box. Loved the reimagined series when it came out.

I see it twice at the local Twin Drive In theatre. Twin because they has two screens. If you parked just right you could see all the movies. Had to hook the speaker into the window. Mosquitoes would get in the car. Lucky are mom had sprayers head to toe with deet.
