Just how I wanted to spend my Sunday…figuring out why I can’t access certain cloudflare-based(?) sites on only my personal Mac.

Still haven’t figured it out but best guess at this moment is an old sequoia version.

20 years ago I was mapping the spread of memes on the Internet. This Christmas I'm just deleting files that were already deleted on a massive S3 bucket. 🫠

Will tonight be the night I try to migrate my old "octopress" blog (previously migrated from wordpress, previously migrated from custom-rolled blog) to Hugo?

“And in Seahawks history, they were 0-172 in games where they trailed by 15 points or more in the fourth quarter.”

The air had been sucked out of Lumen Field when the Rams took a 16-point lead in the fourth quarter. But the #Seahawks dramatically flipped the script for an incredible comeback win in overtime.

The latest from Stacy Rost.

The VS Code integration is super slick, too.
What we are working on right now: blog.exe.dev/meet-exe.dev

We all need more virtual machines. We keep building software to work around the fact that VM infrastructure is clunky. Let's have good VM infrastructure instead.

That professor must have had quite an impact because I remember colleges that used to use part of your SSN as your email address.
i had a databases class in college in which we were designing a users table and the professor guided us to use (firstname, lastname) as the primary key, and i asked what we'd do if there were two people with the same name, and they said to include the social security number, i think of this a lot

Watching Claude interact with Beads makes me never want to touch an issue tracker ever again.

I can easily imagine a future where I sit down, give Claude some instructions for the day, and zone out while it just ... churns.

Not sure I like that version of the future...
