i know this sounds terrible, but i think what makes livio such a fascinating character to me is that he is terrified of the concept of unconditional love - and it only by the end of the story that the audience is shown he’s figuring out he doesn’t have to be

1. Yes, we should avoid giving them additional money by buying their art
2. No, you are not ontologically evil if you think their art is good
