Liking what I have so far.... but man designing a ship design on the fly is difficult... especially when the enemy faction is all angular and evil looking

New pc parts acquired! However, I had to sacrifice new storage because I wouldn't have been able to afford it. I also had to sacrifice PC case fans.. so the thing is running TOASTY.

I also currently am missing a slot for my hdd which contains my art, so no art for a bit.

I could get a pc right now if I wanted to... there's a sale going on and I have JUST enough. I'd have to sacrifice new storage but it's not too bad... I can get storage in a local store.

I'm debating real hard if I should just get those parts now or wait for cyber monday...

I wanted to do more to it, but I lost any drive to do anything else that wasn't important. An example was emotions, but that would've just been as simple as changing the look of the brows and eyes, so I didn't do it.

Been thinking a little... I kinda wanna get a model of my robot red panda at some point. Not any time soon... I STILL have to save for that pc I've been trying so hard to get.

But for sure I do want to get a model of her made someday...

Anyone know of any modelers that do pretty good robot models?

Had to refund $300 'cause it was all upfront payments for art... so that dents my current money pool for a new pc, so from 1100+ that I had I'm back down to 800+.... fuck me

Things may have gotten dire for me.

Power went out for a second and my pc struggled to turn back on shortly after, it is currently stuck doing "updates" at 7% complete... this might just be the end of this pc

Okay, since I'm incredibly curious and I have seen absolutely NOTHING online about the intel arc b580 running vr, I have to ask.

Anyone that HAS the intel arc b580 and HAS done vr on it, could I please get confirmation that vr runs well with virtual desktop?? 'Cause I'm running out of options here

I was made aware that the pc I was building did not support VR... at least not without virtual desktop... I'm going to tweak... this means I have to, once again, drop the plans of building with that gpu...

Back to the expensive as fuck pre-builts.. I genuinely am losing hope here...
