Almost got everything needed to refit that florescent Lantern. Just need an appropriate AC Adapter now. Will buy it off Amazon later this week so I can do everything else this weekend.

So had to get my computer screwdrivers out but got the old lead acid battery out kf this Lantern. Apparently I am gonna have to order it though because Home Depot doesn't carry it locally.
So there is that. Have to go and dispose of the old battery anyway.

So I am getting me a Quesadilla from the Mexican place I like to go to and heading to the lake to look at some stuff. I figure I can so some initial tear down on the florescent lantern and maybe some research.

Went looking on Ebay for old Handspring Visors and an HP Jornada 548. Wondering if they could actually be retrofitted to be usable in the current computing ecosystem.
Or maybe figure out how to make something similar that works with more modern software.
Need a lot of knowledge though.

Day two of the Yearly Ice Storm. Temp is 10F/-12C locally.
We had some more precipitation last night. So there is more ice and sleet on the ground. It's no where near as bad as I have seen in the past. But it's still annoying.
Stuck inside for safety.
