Hello gardeners - I have put my seed down on my lawn’s second summer after the dogs/winter destroyed it in patches - can I put miracle grow or do a cut on it in the next few weeks or am I waiting for the 12 week cycle to finish?

Rhythm is a funny thing - hopefully the back to back requirements on Robertson in the short term can give a little bump in performance levels. It’s clear he’s not what he used to be but you’d still trust him to dig in.

It’s almost December and Liverpool’s best player from the modern era has not had anything put in front of him. It’s bewildering.

Those drawing conclusions on Bradley should appreciate how hard it is to come in and out of a side like that. He’s over-eager to get across for Saints’ second goal - that comes together with more security. If he repeats it then it’s an issue. Good footballer, NOT Trent, but a good footballer

I think something most non Liverpool fans seem to be missing is that we’re realistically operating week to week without 2/3 “starters”. When it was Arsenal with Odegaard and a few others it dominated the narrative

We won’t see Elliott today. Good he’s back around but there’s two keepers on the bench as is - he’s just getting the feel for the warmups etc again. Have a lot of faith in him he’ll be crucial over Christmas

There’s also a world where they overdo their deep build up, we knick it and go a goal up early. However our press has actually not been great this season so highly unlikely

Assumptions for today - we come out looking to be calm and assertive, probably overdoing the calm part, start a bit too slow letting Saints get a head of steam up and rely on Caoimhín a bit. Then score a quick fire double to secure the points

A small thing about Solanke doing his shuttle runs to press between centre halves and the 6’s - they’re all done with a sprint or some intention to try actually get there. Really good. No going through the motions with him. Liked him a lot at Liverpool shame it never worked out
