It’s outrageous that 45 #HongKong opposition figures—politicians, academics, union leaders, and activists—were sentenced to a total of 245 years and 6 months in prison simply for attempting to run and win in an election!

It was an honor to attend Concordia Forum in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss Uyghur advocacy & human rights. I reflected on the urgent need for Muslim unity in countering autocracy & exposing China’s hypocrisy which claims to support #Muslim causes while waging a war on #Islam in the Uyghur homeland.
