I'm actually quite happy seeing the gradual improvement in my rendering :)
I picked these in particular because they were both me experimenting with colors and lighting—yes, that is actually me experimenting with that for Harley, rim lights were new for me!

She's the most cartoony of my OC designs I drew, so it was a little harder to decide how I wanted to do the portrait. I'm not sure I'm entire pleased with how I chose to go about it, but that just means I gotta draw her in another style again some day! :)

My original goal was 5 attacks this year, so I'm pretty happy I whipped out 11! :)
Focusing less on animations was good for me, too. I enjoy actually animating, even the simple tweeny stuff, but it was a lot of extra work last year to set up every attack for it. 😅
