My auntie showed me a scar from the abuse she faced in school bc she spoke French. Try in Aug my professor questioned the abuse my pawpaw and others faced (a widely known fact in Louisiana) bc he'd never interviewed anyone who'd experienced such things (that they admitted to him).

I keep seeing talk of a "legislative marathon" to pass the Butt Ugly Bill. Citizens should have our own marathon of opposition. Bombard politicians with calls, emails, and social media posts against the budget reconciliation bill. To win our race is to be relentless in making our voices heard.
