Human #civilization is a collection of #governance structures that change over time. Some work for a while, others die quickly. None are ‘perfect’ but some deserve to persist.

It’s a perfect #union, until it isn’t. It’s your #choice, until it isn’t.

Instigate conflict > control response. Works every time.

The curse of civilization: conflict > peace > prosperity > entitlement > complacency > grievance > mobilization > conflict 🔁

Your neighbor is on a property you consider rightfully yours. You want it.

Your neighbor feels the same about your property. You’ve been provoking each other since you each inherited these properties from your great grand-parents.

Neighborhood association doesn’t care what you do. What do you do?

Criticize the Israeli government and you are antisemitic. Criticize the Russian or Iranian governments and you seek regime change.

Equate criticism of the government to criticism of the People to: (1) deflect outside pressure, and (2) rally your people around the common cause of national defense.

Being purposely lied to is being disrespected. Politicians #lying is as old as time, and it’s getting worse.

They know they can #manipulate you and you’re not going to know the difference. They’re literally #disrespecting you for their #gain, not yours.

One who intends to consolidate and hold on to power can achieve almost anything if one can keep people’s attention fixated on a tariff war

Incentive structure of political class rarely aligns with the common good, but degree to which it has strayed is impressive.

Playing on people’s emotions without delivering doesn’t end well. People can be pawns is someone else’s game for only so long.

Note to #Democrats:

Politicians feign outrage wherever there’s a microphone.

Problem is you have nothing to show for all that #outrage, leading voters to see it as disingenuous.
