i really like how you can hear the shift to keiichi okabe's musical direction in drakengard 2's ost and all the little elements (especially in twilight hill and symphonic poem) that he would later implement in drakengard 3 and nier's soundtracks

ended up enjoying this game alot! i've always been curious about the aftermath of each ending in drakengard 1 and this being a direct sequel to one of them was really interesting and i really liked how it played out

caim's moveset from the first game was so faithfully recreated for his boss fight in drakengard 2 especially him spamming finishing blows, magic and jump attacks...just being at the other end of his insanity and bloodlust instead of being the one actually doing it is so cool grrr
