Born on February 11, 1949, in Jamaica, NY, he served in the US Coast Guard and dedicated himself to his family and community. His memory lives on through his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren, and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Henry J. Kmietek, a proud WWII Navy veteran and skilled wood craftsman, passed away on February 11, 2023, at 99. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. His funeral service took place on February 21, 2023, and memorial contributions can be made to the Haddam Veterans' Museum.

Staff Sgt. Richard S. Eaton Jr., born on February 9, 1966, in New Haven, Connecticut, dedicated his life to military service. His remarkable career included brave service in Iraq, where he tragically passed away in 2003. His legacy lives on through a memorialized U.S. Army Reserve center and his enduring impact on his family and community.
