Connecticut Water Company is reviewing enrollment in one of its low-income assistance programs after learning it misinterpreted a new law and prematurely dropped an unknown number of households.

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk has begun its season of winter wildlife cruises, with seals and migratory birds the primary viewing targets.

This month, CT Public joined about a dozen ticketed passengers and the crew of the R/V Sound Explorer for a trip around the Norwalk Islands.

Former Norwich Mayor Peter Nystrom is seeking to join the city's retirement system, allowing him to supplement his existing state pension. If the request is granted, he would be eligible to immediately begin receiving benefits after making a one-time payment into the municipal retirement system.
