UnitedHealthcare will limit remote patient monitoring (RPM) coverage under Medicare Advantage starting Jan 1, 2026 — only heart failure and hypertensive disorders in pregnancy will qualify. Diabetes, hypertension & COPD will no longer be covered.

CMS finalized the 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. Starting Jan 1, 2026, clinicians will need to enroll and bill separately for each location they deliver telehealth from.
