## I feel like I'm not allowed to be proud of myself (i'm a cishet white man) It feels like every other group (in terms of identity, like gender, sexuality, race, etc. actually mainly those 3) has a day or even a whole month to themselves. I don't really have anything *against* them by the way, just jealousy i guess? Or major self esteem issues. They get to be celebrated just for existing. They get deep symbols of resilience while all I get is half my kind being total dumbasses (to say the least). They get flags. They make themselves awesome. They have many communities dedicated just to themselves (and offshoot communities of general topics for said groups), and even multiple TLDs. Some even get to have their group name *capitalized*! But it feels like I get nothing. That I'm not allowed to exist because I'm not oppressed. And on the very rare occasion that I do feel like I get something, everyone starts hating on my kind and that's allowed (see: International Men's Day). I feel left out. Worthless. I'm never going to be successful. Everyone else is better than me solely for existing in a different way, and also for being oppressed. Everyone hates me. But I'm not allowed to feel guilty; they need me to feel worse than I already am and not heal. I want to oppress myself so maybe I can finally be allowed to exist for once. (I want to be comforted, preferably by someone in one of those groups but I feel like I'm asking for too much and attention seeking and guilt tripping and chasing and that's bad. I don't want to offend anyone.)
