In my early 40's , I decided to put an education where one should have been. Children who are abused spend the rest of their lives trying to catch up. Employers, please bear that in mind.

What kind of #RomanCatholic #CSA #Safeguarding takes your details, pretends to care by arranging a few sessions of counselling, then completely ghosts you, thinking it's ticked the boxes for duty of care? They don't even ask whether it's been value for money from their perspective.

I try not to wish on anyone the hell #csa survivors have been through, thanks, in no small part to the (in)actions of popes. I just hope the next one uncovers all the cover ups in the weird institution I grew up in. #romancatholicism

St Joseph's Ipswich added Fides (fidelity) to the school motto after I left, almost as though they knew their legacy is one of child sexual abuse. So I've fixed it for them. #delasalle
