Happy birthday to me!

In 2021 I started to draw a nice summer pic of my ocs for my birthday every year. This year I sadly don’t have the capacities to create one and I truly miss it.
Even more so a reason to enjoy the ones I already did!

The backyard only has a few plants which are already yellow. The feeling of a hot high summer day. Aran stands next to an old car that’s up in the backyard to be repaired and is all excited to learn about it, leaning over the engine. An older man, their neighbor, stands next to him and explains the car for him. Tao sits on the roof of the car and throws a basketball in the air. He isn’t really excited about learning about cars but wants to spend time with Aran Digital art of original characters Aran and Tao as young adults on a warm summer day sitting on an electrical box in front of a basketball court. They both have a fresh drink and they enjoy their time, smile, and talk to each other. It’s a warm day but not super hot. The colors are dominated by yellow and orange as well as green and some blue and soft purple Digital art of original characters Aran and Tao as young adults in their mid to late 20s on a morning walk over the local small farmers market. It’s morning and the shadows are still long but you can tell it’s already very warm. The two men hold hands and Tao gets excited over all the fresh produce. Aran carries a bag and Tao a backpack which are both already full with fresh vegetable and green Digital art of original characters Aran and Tao as teenagers on a hot summer day out in their local nyc neighborhood. They just crossed the street and Aran is playing with a basketball which Tao is trying to steal from him. Both boys are laughing. In the background we see a bodega with fresh produce outside and the overpass of a subway as well as some houses. It’s a hot day and the colors for this pic are inspired by orange soda, so there is a lot of orange and yellow.

This small comic is coming along too. Already feeling a *bit* disappointed with a resigned "Well. I'll get it NEXT time", but it's an improvement from the first mini comics I did this year art-wise, and I've already got ideas for another one I'm itching to do.
