I think the folks in Minnesota are 100% correct to think that there will be no truth, no accountability, and no justice in any investigation run by this government. Trump, Noem, and Vance have pretty explicitly stated that the ICE thug is in the clear no matter what.

Back in 2020, after a decades long succession of shitty, department store wallets, I decided it was time for something different. About that same time I heard about a gentleman serving in the US Navy, who made high-quality, leather wallets in his spare time. Back then he was marketing his work under the name Das Offene Meer, which is German for The Open Sea. I started looking at his stuff and had pretty much made the decision to buy one when I heard he was running a sale on limited quantity leathers. I had to jump on that and soon after received my new, Gundeck style wallet, in oil tan leather with cream thread. Besides the overall quality and functionality of these wallets, probably the most unique feature is that the majority of them are made from a single piece of leather and only online of stitching. After nearly six years of use the leather is still buttery smooth, and all the scratches and scuffs only add to the natural patina beauty of full grain leather. Very recently I decided that I wanted to get some new calling cards as I was running low on my precious ones and was tired of the design. I quickly created these and placed an order for 50 of them through moo.com. I decided to keep things simple, with them having two front designs and one back design. In line with wanting some new cards I also wanted to have a good way to carry them around with me. After seeing all the usual garbage on Amazon I had an idea. Why not look and see if Das Offene Meer had something I could use for that purpose? The first thing I found was that he is now doing business under the English translation of his name and with an updated logo. The quality is the same as ever, though, and the selections has improved. So I placed an order for one of his new designs and sat back to await its creation and shipping from Hawaii. Since I wasn’t looking for a full wallet I decided to go for one of his smaller designs and also chose a vertical design. I also couldn’t resist a more colorful design this time, opting for the blue leather with the colonial tan thread. I received it today and I couldn’t be more pleased! It holds six of my calling cards comfortably, which is absolutely perfect. For anyone looking for a new wallet I can recommend the work of Open Sea Leather Company without any reservations!
