Met a small flock of Pine Grosbeaks on the weekend. The males are red, and the females are this gorgeous gold/bronze colour. Bird guides often say “yellow” but that doesn’t work for these beauties #birds 🌿

type for books used to be set using little metal letters built into words in racks and then inked and pressed on to paper. If you had stock phrases you wanted to reuse a lot you could make a cast of them called a ‘stereotype’. The sound of them *clicking* into place, in French, is ‘cliché’

Just to add to this: Even if you've already checked your moderation settings before, check them again. I know for a fact that I already set a lot of them last year by the latest, but some of the settings (including Rude) have been reset to Hide at some point.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
Rude Rude or impolite, including crude language and disrespectful comments, without constructive purpose. Highlighted Off, darkened Warn, and darkened Hide buttons.
