Probably the largest and best research on this issue to date. Mums and mums-to-be, read the science yourself, or trust credible sources like recommendations from national medical societies, or just ask your doctor… don’t ever trust politicians to interpret medicine and science!

A 2024 study published in JAMA involving 2.4 million children in Sweden, used sibling-control analysis. When comparing siblings—one exposed to #acetaminophen in utero & one not—the researchers found NO increased risk of #autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability.

After ~50 years in clinical practice as a pediatrician & neonatologist, I today did my last clinic at Children’s Hospital, London, Canada. Only ending patient care, though: Continuing education/research-related activities for University & provincial/national agencies… body/brain must stay active!!
