Statement regarding the Nobel Prize Committee:
“The committee that awards the Nobel Prize said Friday that the physical symbols of the prize — a medal and diploma — can be given away, but the honor itself is “inseparably linked” to the winner.”

I do wish they’d rescinded it altogether.

Paying attention to what happens today at the White House meeting between Trump and Maria Machado. Does she either “share” or “give” him her Nobel Peace Prize? The Nobel Committee has already said this is not an option. If this happens, the Nobel Committee needs to rescind the prize altogether.

Dems should stop reporting what republicans are saying behind the scenes and tell them they’ll be recording them and releasing what they say. Right now dems are giving them cover in republicans’ attempt to have us think better of them. It’s not working. Dems: change strategy before it’s too late.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform should have Julie K. Brown come and testify. She is the investigative reporter from the Miami Herald who has been looking into and reporting on the Epstein case since early 2017 and has a plethora of highly relevant information.

Historically the country rallies behind the president at a time of war. Trump seems headed toward war with Venezuela. Purpose? - diversion from Epstein, regime change, natural resources - definitely not about drugs. Let there be no rallying behind Trump.

Seems like there are a not insignificant number of conservative “Christians” guilty of sexual abuse, often of children. Could it be they wrap themselves in the church to cloak themselves and obtain absolution with an eye to abuse-cloak-absolve-repeat?

Alarmingly, millions of people will be affected by the loss of SNAP, ACA subsidies, and cuts to Medicaid, but the bigger issue: In the richest country, why do so many people NEED this support because they can’t make a living wage? Shame on us. These losses are the symptom of a deeper problem.

Nothing screams GUILTY like sending Air Force jets to do fly overs during a press conference with Epstein survivors.

We’ve all become experts at understanding Trump’s behavior, so it doesn’t take a genius to know he’s guilty of something in the Epstein files. He’s been told that his name appears. The harder he works to deflect, deny, and distract, the deeper he digs his hole. I join the chorus: Release the Files!

Don’t bother calling Ghislaine to testify before Congress. She will have her pardon deal in place, as arranged by Todd Blanche, and will only lie, i.e. perjure, in support of Trump’s “hoax” stand. Call Epstein’s brother!

It’s no surprise that almost all the Senate Republicans voted to pass the Big Barbarous Bill. The surprise is why 3 didn’t.Those voting yes understood the consequences fromTrump and maggots, both physically and politically. The only threats from a constituent would be loss of their vote.

Have you read the “This Will Hold” articles on Substack about how the 2024 election was rigged? I’d appreciate your thoughts on the information presented in these articles.

1/4 So Trump has only been willing to have his intelligence briefing once a week and that still seems to be a problem for him. The solution: have a Fox “news” personality make a video, include maps, pictures, and animation. Hoo Boy, where to begin.
1. Obviously, a huge security risk to have this

Ronald Reagan’s quip that “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, “‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”. This was not true in 1986 when he said it, but it is true now in 2025 under the Trump regime.

Given the large turnouts for the Fighting Oligarchy Tour by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrats in Congress would be smart to pay attention and give the Congressional Progressive Caucus more attention, support, and power. The “old guard” needs to learn from them.

The government will be back in front of Federal Court Judge Xinis on the Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia case on April 15th. If they do their usual obfuscating and delaying, the Judge needs to set (another) firm deadline for the return of Mr. Garcia (i.e. 24 hours). If he is not returned by then,

While the claim that America is the greatest country on earth has always been fairly hyperbolic, the claim is even emptier now. Our reputation for fostering cultural diversity and equality, liberty and justice, a strong economy, a beacon of hope and opportunity, etc. have been and are being torched.

RE: Illegal DOGE Actions: Due to a lack of transparency, we are limited as to the specifics of what DOGE has done. Despite court orders for TRO’s, damage had ALREADY been done and CONTINUED. Can it be undone? Gone: staff contact #’s, computers, appropriate work space…Seems like a Pyrrhic Victory.

Congressional Democrats need to improve their messaging:
1. Yes, we need to get rid of waste and fraud in government.
2. Be clear: This is NOT DOGE’s goal.
3. Spell out what DOGE IS doing. Be specific.
3.Give specific examples of what Democrats WOULD
DO, i.e., variation on a “Shadow Cabinet”.

Message to Elon: Look to the Republicans in Congress when searching for government waste and fraud. Their only “work” has been to wait for their President in Name Only to give them their voting orders. Their work performance review: “Unacceptable”. They must be fired.
March 16, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Since the Democrats in Congress are having trouble getting Elon in to testify about what exactly DOGE is doing, a group of dems should figure out where Elon will be and go to him to ask their questions. Oh, and be sure to invite the media to tag along.

When Trump said he couldn’t drive the Tesla he was “buying” because the Secret Service wouldn’t let him, it’s really because he can barely fit into the car, can barely walk, and doesn’t know how to drive. Also, who believes he’s actually paying out of his pocket?
March 12, 2025 at 3:03 PM
When are republicans going to worry more about being voted out by their constituents than being primaried by Elon?
March 2, 2025 at 4:50 PM
James Rainey, LA Times, interviewed federal workers, Trump voters, who now find themselves fired. These loyalists express amazement and shock at how things have gone too far, yet don’t disavow regret about their vote. I guess there needs to be more pain before reality bites. Not holding my breath.
