Why I think this is important. I think it shows that either consciousness doesn't reduce to knowledge (contrary to the Illusionist claim), or that the current LLM AIs don't really have knowledge.

I proved that 3 years before them and in full generality, but it's easy to miss literature when so many papers appear every day. My 2021 paper (and other papers at the bottom of this pic) also refutes "Hilbert space fundamentalism" (as coined by @seanmcarroll.bsky.social, comments welcome!).
