One more quality-of-life improvement coming to CreatorCaps next week.
Any guesses?

CreatorCaps started as a personal utility.

I needed captions often, but full video editors were too bloated: timelines, transitions, subscriptions.

A simple proposition:
→ Import video
→ Clean captions
→ Export
→ Done

So I built the focused tool I’d actually use.
It’s evolved a lot since then.
🚨 CreatorCaps update is out.

→ Live caption previews - instant rendering as you edit.

→ Caption block scrubber - tap to position, double-tap to snap to block start.

→ Export up to 4K (720p–4K).

Plus performance improvements and fixes.

Indie dev tip:
Every app should distribute the rest of your portfolio.

I use the iTunes Search API to show my other apps in Settings.

→ Live metadata
→ Up-to-date icons & pricing
→ Auto-localized
→ Zero manual updates

Each app becomes a node in your network.

It’s a tiny thing. But I really enjoy these little animations in the Settings header of these apps. Do I need to have them in there? Nope! Do they add any real value? Also nope! Are they fun to build and look at? 💯 Yes!

Inspired by the Widgets sheet in iOS. (1/2)

When iterating on iOS in the simulator, uninstalling via the UI is pure friction. Instead I use this constantly.

Clean state, no taps, no long-press dance.

If your app’s behavior depends on first-launch logic, migrations, permissions, or onboarding, this should be muscle memory.

Fixing Siri’s mishearing for hard app names (sharing in case other #iosdev face similar issues).

The problem: Siri kept failing on “Open Glu Sight” or doing anything with the available shortcuts. Instead, it heard “site” or “glow” or some other variations.

We’ve shipped a new Trends feature in Glu Sight.

Instead of just numbers, it shows how your glucose is actually moving over time, with clear direction and deltas.

It’s designed to be understandable at a glance, without needing to be an expert.

I really like the phased-release visualization when a release is substantial. It gives me confidence to watch early signals and halt the rollout immediately if something odd shows up in the metrics.

Glu Sight v2.5.0 is finally out.

This one adds proper trends, new insight cards, and a glucose-first mode where the UI adapts if you don’t use insulin.

If you’re using the app, it’s a meaningful update.

I just finished playing the demo of PRAGMATA on the Nintendo Switch 2. Absolutely amazing. I’d love to see how the story develops. One of the games I’m most looking forward to this year.

Just submitted an App Store build with:

→ A major subscriptions + entitlements rewrite (oh dear!) 💰
→ Two new features 🚀
→ A full UI/UX cleanup 🧹

It’s Friday. I regret nothing.

I’m working on a new Trends feature in Glu Sight.

It shows how glucose changes over
7 — 90 days with simple deltas and lightweight context.

One goal: answer at a glance whether things are improving, worsening, or stable.

Shipping soon.

Oooh look here! OpenCode also has a desktop app now: opencode.ai/download.

This is absolutely the funniest timeline ever: IDE GUI → CLI → Desktop GUI

Come on, don’t tell me you’re not laughing at this. Specifically if you’ve been in computing since the 90s or earlier.

Shipped based on real user feedback: Glu Sight now adapts to your therapy.

Don’t use insulin? Disable insulin tracking and the UI adjusts automatically, keeping the experience focused on glucose.

If Apple ever decouples the SwiftUI Preview canvas from Xcode and lets it run independently, given the CLI tools we already have, most of us would barely open Xcode anymore.

And honestly, that would be incredible.

According to @glusight.app , I’ve had amazing control over the past 7 days. And I couldn’t be happier. 😄

Building… 🥁

I built @glusight.app to manage my diabetes without drowning in numbers.
It turns raw glucose and insulin data into patterns and signals I can actually use.

The goal is clarity and actionable feedback.

This is one of those moments where I’m really glad I built @glusight.app.
It’s 9 PM and seeing “96% within target” tells me instantly how well I managed today.
Zero guessing or mental math. As someone managing diabetes, this has been really important.
