To balance out our session this week on conservatism, next week will focus on understanding socialism.

Through a relaxed disagreeing well framework, we hope people more genuinely understand those who follow and those who disagree with socialism.

We held our first dialogue session at UCL yesterday about how our opinions form and the limits to understanding all opinions !

Through concrete personal experiences, we discussed the importance of disagreeing well to improve opinions and to what extent can we disagree well.

Thanks you to all !

The first in-person group discussion for Crossroads Dialogues! It will be a group discussion on sharing where people’s opinions have come from and the limits of how much we can understand and empathize with opinions that we might disagree with. Snacks included !

Political conversations between people who disagree with one another can often be ineffective. So, Crossroads Dialogues would change this by allowing students and the wider London community to actively disagree well and maybe find a solution to political problems together.
