Yes Kemi poverty is such a drain on the economy isn't it? Or maybe just maybe we can get billionaires to pay more tax. Why is the narrative always to kick the poorest in society in the balls at every turn.

I've had a garlic and herb flatbread thing to go with my lunch and my stomach is now in a knot with it and the house smells like I'm dealing with a vampire infestation.

Geez these phone scams are getting more sophisticated. I've just had a scam call that started off with saying hello is that Douglas and when you say yes it then starts the crap about you're due a refund on car finance. Took longer than usual to realise it wasnt a real person at the other end.

WhatsApp has stopped showing their app symbol on my screen as a way of notifying me of a message. Instead I'm getting the tiniest image possible of the profile pic of the person messaging me. If you're going to do the pic hing make it big enough that I don't have to guess who it is.

@countbinface.bsky.social would likely beat Starmer if he stood in his constituency right now in a general election. And if we are being honest he would show a lot more backbone as PM as Starmer too.

No it won't it just won't because if there is a hard way to ultimately fail to qualify that's the route Scotland will take

Checking BBC sport pages on my lunch break and disappointed to see Townsend hasn't gone as Scotland manager.
November 17, 2025 at 12:13 PM
Well it's definitely time for Townsend to do the decent thing and ride off into the sunset.

Last few nights I've completely forgotten to buy coffee on my way home. I've finally got some this morning and I'm currently enjoying it like I've tasted coffee for the first time ever

I'm playing Zelda tears of the kingdom on my switch and one of the characters can produce giant gusts of wind on demand. Unlike in the game no one around me considers it a super power when I produce giant gusts of wind 😂😂

What are the chances that the BBC will roll over and issue a full retraction before Friday. We have now reached the stage of the very rich and the very powerful flexing their political muscle in the most brazen ways.

Took my mum shopping to M&S and while wandering around there were 2 women walking by and I heard 1 line and 1 line only of the chat and it was.

"Well what did you think was going to happen by letting him in your bedroom"

And I have never been so disappointed to not hear the end of a random chat 😂

I am already fed up seeing the Asda Christmas advert and it's early November.

Patiently waiting on Scottish rugby team news for Saturday. Big question is if Zander is fit do we play him for 60min and watch scrum collapse when he goes off or hope we aren't getting smashed and bring him on for second half to hold scrum together. Would help if there was a decent back up 😂

You know you are an old fart when you have to explain to a younger colleague who Debbie McGee is.

AI is shit isn't it. My last 3 Amazon purchases have all been IT related but apparently Amazon thinks that based on my last purchases I am interested in breakfast cereal.

Saw these flavoured toothpastes in the supermarket yesterday. Not on the kids section either. While I realise not everyone is a fan of mint who on earth thinks I want to brush my teeth with cola and 11 quid each

Excellent article about why we should tackle poverty but more importantly child poverty. It's a disgrace that in a wealthy country we didn't it acceptable to have children living an existence and not a life.

What kind of country puts its pensioners ahead of children in poverty? | Polly Toynbee
As long as a third of children are living below the poverty line, the government cannot justify keeping the pensions triple lock, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee

So never a day goes by without having to use MS authenticator. Twice on phone and once on pc today. As the old saying goes a login on the laptop is worth 2 on the phone.

I woke up this morning very angry with my oldest daughter. In my dream I was having when the alarm went off she had let a guy who was working on some building works across the road use our loo and didn't notice him stealing the wash basin. What a silly girl she is 😂😂
