Senne proved he knows ball (🏈) with the EPL post earlier in the week. He backed it up here. Go Pats! We all we got, we all we need!
🇺🇾 @ManuUgarte8 = @Seahawks
🇧🇪 Senne Lammens = @Patriots

These two Reds are on opposing sides for #SBLX and in our very own @NFL challenge...

That Mbuemo shot felt like slow motion trundling into the net. Perfect placement.
Man United take down ten-man Spurs 2-0 for their FOURTH STRAIGHT Premier League win. 🔥

Not sure what Mike is getting at here. Carrick always gave it all for United. He’d cover at CB if asked, and locked down the midfield for years. United won everything with him in the squad. Additionally, but unrelated, he had one of the best player chants of anyone in that generation of United.
It’s really funny that Carrick is gonna end up being the pick of self styled true Man United fans, given what the self styled true Man United fans thought of Michael Carrick while he was at the club.

We need more sports media members to make statements like Chris Long did at the end of @greenlightpod.bsky.social today. Speaking the truth and not caring at all if it costs him listeners or sponsors.

Man Utd 2-0 Man City FT

The Michael Carrick era is here. And what a result to get it started.

United fully deserve their win, as City lose further ground in the title race.

That Manchester United performance was the most complete performance we have seen in years. Besides a very shaky opening 20 minutes from Dalot, it was a very promising display. Organized defense, venomous counters and appropriate pressure from front to back.

Awesome news that Wake Forest will be hosting the German national team for the World Cup this summer. It will be good publicity for Wake soccer and cool to see the German team around town.

Manchester United reached the correct decision regarding Amorim

But how they reached that decision - not on results but on a public outburst - raise serious questions on the levels of competence within INEOS, and don't inspire faith going forward

Manchester United reached the right conclusion with Ruben Amorim but the way they got there does not inspire confidence
Sacking a coach due to an outburst at his bosses rather than the (lack of) results raises questions of competency for those operating behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

FWIW Clawson had six winning seasons there which is second-most all-time among WF coaches (and most since the 1940s) so he really did set up a very consistent culture there for success to grow
What a job by Jake Dickert in his first season at Wake Forest. Preseason over/under win total was 4.5. This Mayo Bowl win over Mississippi State makes it a 9-4 season.

Darren Fletcher's 18-year-old twin sons, Jack and Tyler, were in a Manchester United matchday squad together for the first time vs. Newcastle, with Jack even playing the second half of a 1-0 win 👏

What a proud day this must be for the family 🥹

100% agree with this. I listen to a lot of podcasts while working/driving but have never had the slightest urge to watch a podcast in my free time.
nothing makes me feel more out of touch with how people consume media than "these video podcasts signed a deal with Netflix"

United settled in after the rough first 20 minutes but it’s still shaky for Heaven. Hopefully Yoro is a quick option if it continues at the start of the second half. Amad and Casemiro have been good but the front 3 don’t get enough of the ball unless they drop deep or go wide.

Heaven is absolutely lost out there right now. RA needs to be cognizant and not let him get himself sent off.

Jake Dickert has done a terrific job at Wake Forest, now 6-3 and bowl-eligible in his first season.

I thought they might be the worst P4 team this year. Team plays hard.

I’ve seen far too much Big 10 and Big 12 football the last 2 weeks. Get it together Disney and YouTube TV.

Penn St is finally providing a game worth watching but the point stands.

Bruno closing down to block the clearance made that goal possible. He’s also made a number of forward run that haven’t been found. He’s not had as bad a half as the stats may indicate.

Mbuemo seeing a lot of the focus in United getting the ball forward. Amorim clearly prefers his matchup with Porro than Amad trying to deal with van de Ven’s physicality.

Amad did a great job of knocking off Cunha there. Pretty ugly performance from United in possession for that first 20 minutes.

Just a backbreaking goal for Clt to concede. It looked as if they survived the break only to give it up on a very tight angle. Hopefully they can regroup at the half.
