Dude imagine if movie studios were releasing remakes of black and white movies that were just shot-for-shot remakes in full color, and the switch to color just completely washed out all the interesting lighting choices from the original black and white filmmaking

Back in the day you would finish a game and it would say something like "see you next time!" and then you wouldn't see that character again for another 20 years. These days they don't say anything like that even though they know they have 20 more Next Times already in production

I initially planned a minimalist style for this project, but the box lighting technique looked so good, it was making the flat colored environments look bad to me, so I tried out making some photo textures with normals, and I think the results look pretty good!

Finally worked out the kinks in my box lighting algorithm and it looks fucking amazing if I do say so myself.
