As noted elsewhere: Two things can exist as once. I can feel for the family of a murdered man AND I can feel for the literally hundred of thousands of families this horrible selfish greedy capitalist fuck screwed over.

As a #DisabledPerson I can confidently say that health insurance is in the USA is literally a protection racket. It's legalized crime and a daily violation of my humanity.

This is so accurate. You and many people you love will probably be disabled at some point in your life. If disabled people's needs are fully met then that's an indicator your social justice work is successful (see "curb cut" theory).
