An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

Why is there an all pervasive smell of fried chicken along Kootenai Street from Vista to Orchard?

Never thought I'd be grateful to 16-year-old me impulsively buying a cane sword. But here I am basically unable to walk today. Utilizing the cane.

If anyone sees me walking around with a limp the next few days, something popped in my knee while asleep in bed and it was loud enough to wake my fiance, and also I can't put any weight on my knee now.

I've been reading a bit more on the Boys of Boise, and uh, why does it feel like the exact same nonresolution would happen today? Down to doing absolutely nothing about pedophilia.

I do love an interactive map, they're such a dopamine hit. Also, this really does help show the scale of the insurance crisis developing.

Can we have more of this please? My heart rate shouldn't jump 20 bpm just reading that a government agency did more than the bare minimum in one tiny little thing.
(1/2?) I sometimes highlight agency non transparency online, but I also try to recognize when public officials quickly and amicably honor their obligations. The data I used to visualize Idaho’s insurance crisis came from the state’s department of insurance, led by Dean Cameron. His office…

Anyone feel up to some developing? I've got a listing in Richfield that is prime for a small scale development.

Some libraries are open and we get pushback for ‘not supporting veterans.’ Reminder that 20% of homeless males are veterans, 32% are in suburbs. Idaho is 50th in US for broadband. Closing a building that provides services doesn’t honor veterans, it harms them. Being open is honoring this day.

These posts are frequent in my local moms group. Whether midwife or doctor. This is what OB care looks like in Idaho right now.

I grew up in a lot in Minnesota, I got my Sailing merit badge on Superior. I've been in Duluth when a big storm comes in, it was some of the scariest water I've ever seen. I'll mark the anniversary of the sinking similarly to that vote taken today.

Sprawl or density.

Eagle chooses sprawl like its life depends on it. I think there's one municipality in the Treasure Valley not choosing sprawl, Garden City, and that's because it can't.

The Garden City results are a bit closer than I was expecting.

Star and Middleton failing to pass the fire levy is on brand.

Now to check on a sewer bond and some school levies before bed.

SCOOP: Idaho’s health department quietly declined the entirety of its annual $1.5 million federal Title X funding in April, leaving patients statewide without any access to the family planning program.

One Idaho health district no longer offers contraception at all.

While some states fight to restore Title X family planning funding, Idaho chooses to forfeit it

I will be in McCall around 1 this afternoon. And I'll be up there for a few hours. Throw me some lunch options. I never get to eat there, mainly because I'm always passing through.

I also have to get photos in Secesh Meadows beforehand, I wonder what Secesh Summit looks like today..

I mentioned that I like scotch to the dining car attendant. Amtrak dug up a 25 year old Bowmore for dinner.

Why are we not funding this!?!
