Done with the Roundhouse. Dang the end was a kick in the genitals. The rest too, but less so. Mixed feelings on Sonja more than anyone else. I like Linda and what she represents, that sorta yin/yang bit. The pacing of the grocery trip was masterful.

I just do not get the aesthetics of framing art with huge mats (well beyond practical necessity).

I'm about halfway through Round House now. Just starting to get the big reveals. But all I can wonder is whether you could really fit 400 of them in a baby doll.

Finally starting round house. Got through the first two chapters. Dang it doesn't give you much time to get settled. Loving the mix of humor and dark scenes. I already learned something: what a dandelion fork is.

While I like the visual pattern my reading has formed this month, I don't think it's very sustainable. #storygraph #booksky

My dog is recovering from another surgery and got an infection. The constant stress and worry sucks even though he seems generally up swinging. I should never have kids, I'd explode. Maybe stick to plants.

My experience with buying art prints has turned into: see something I like, buy it, need to buy frame for art, realize I got the wrong frame, buy another frame, need to buy art to fill the first frame, rearrange wall to fit both pieces, realize it's imbalanced, look for something else I like...

This was my first year keeping a day calendar. It's melancholy having the visual reminder of the year passing by. Of course the comic can be pretty melancholy too.

I'm 2/3rds of the way through #editing and I'm at exactly 111,111 words. I was hoping to get down to 100k but I'm going to have to just stop here. Welp.

Halfway through in one sitting. Pretty good even if the romance is a bit cheese.

Just bought Beloved, Normal People, Jekyll/Hyde, Frankenstein, the works of Hesiod, and Horror Movie. Any other books I should check out while @bookshop.org has its free shipping?

An unusually non-fiction heavy month for me but an above average month both in quality and quantity of what I read.

These are the real issues our politicians should be focusing on! Where are the ostrich/emu races?
Did you know that an ostrich and an emu have never been set off together in a running race?
