So, I did a thing. I just bought a 36 acre farm, with a pond and a little lake for my 64th birthday present. No plans for how I’ll use it. I just need space… lots of space to wander each day.

My husband is turning 70 this year and is certain that I’ve lost my mind.🤣

Good advice.

My curiosity drives me to learn something new or develop a better understanding.

It takes all my time/effort to delve deeply enough to find accurate and reliable resources these days. No time/patience for shitpost opinions stated as fact or speculation. I’m avoiding those traps.
My advice.
Keep scrolling.
Don't troll.

You don't have to agree on everything.

Support, promote and strengthen your community.
Surround yourself with the kind of people who support their local library, bakery, bookstore, and café.

Just walking by the lake and being reminded by Earl that, even though it’s winter, he expects the bird feeders to be topped up every day.

Yes. Resistant non- consumerism. Next four years.

Recycle. Repair. Borrow. Minimize. Better for your mental health, the environment, your environment, and your pocket book.
Me & mine will be saving every penny we can because of the upcoming trump atrocity. When we lose pre-existing conditions, ppl will be losing their homes again bc of medical bills. Some of my maga relatives don't get it. Slim pickings this Christmas.

Proud Great-grandchild of German immigrants (father) and grandchild of Welsh immigrants (mother). My German great-grandparents and grandparents were discriminated and targeted for their language, cultural practices, and perceived loyalty with physical violence during WWI And WWII.
