Two games I’ve been waiting to go on sale are in the Steam winter sale! Yay. They couldn’t be more different 🤣

What you hoping to pick up??

I’ve just published my review of Log Away 🏡

A design-led cabin builder with beautiful locations and strong photo mode tools!

A solid 4/5 for me, slightly held back by fiddly controls, but a great choice if you want something genuinely relaxing.

Read it here:

Stream Replay is here! Some of my faveeees from 2025!

Can’t believe I played 75 games but there were tons of great ones out (and some older classics I’d not picked up before) so it definitely tracks!

Log Away has stolen my heart. I’ll be writing a full review on it this week, but wanted to share it!

I love decorating, design games, cosiness and cabins, so this was made for me.

What I loved most is taking photos of my builds, and changing the weather to get the perfect light for my shots!

I write about indie games literally every week, so this should be doable. HERE WE GO!

1. Consume Me

Consume Me will disarm you with its earnest approach to difficult topics like eating disorders and teenage angst due to its smart calendar structure. Its WarioWare-style minigames are fun too!

I’ve featured the beautiful game Lake in my last two articles on here, and it’s just gone on sale on Steam - 70% off!

This is such a delightfully cosy game and is perfect for if you need to wind down this winter.

Cosy games don’t often put the spotlight on characters over 40, but the ones that do are absolutely worth playing.

From Lake to Wytchwood, here are some gems for those of us who relate more to the older folks than the young:

Is anyone else playing/played Cast n Chill? I’ve had it since the summer, but this week I’ve been playing non stop! It’s so relaxing and actually pretty addicting 😅

My review of Winter Burrow is here! A cosy game that’s actually pretty harsh if you stay out in the cold too long ❄️🥶

I break down what works, what doesn’t, and whether it still counts as a cosy game.

Sorry but can we just stop and look at how gorgeous the art in Winter Burrow is, and how utterly adorable the little mouse is?!

Instantly bought Winter Burrow last night and spent the evening playing.

Absolute gem of a game where you play as a little mouse trying to survive the winter in a burrow that needs fixing up!

Perfect to coorie in with on a cold stormy night 🌧️ 🐭

Happy weekend everyone 🥰

What are you all playing this weekend? I’ve started Unbox the Room, also have my Stardew farm on the go as always, and patiently waiting for Winter Burrow to release on Tuesday…!

Happy Monday, friendlings!

I’m working today, but taking it easy with lots of tea and listening to some lofi.

Can’t stop thinking about Winter Burrow - I’m so excited to play the full game. I’ve uploaded my demo play through onto YouTube if you want to take a look 🐁

Have a peaceful day ✌️

I played the Winter Burrow demo today. What a joy it was.

An hour of game play went by so fast and I can’t wait until the 12th for the full release!

I’ll be streaming Winter Burrow in a few weeks time. Hope you can join me over on Twitch!

Just finished Öoo and absolutely loved it.

The puzzles were a perfect balance for me, clever without being frustrating, and the whole game has a nostalgic, cozy vibe that totally pulled me in.

A gem of a game that I’ll be thinking about for a while! Thank you @namataka.bsky.social 🐛🩷
