Might actually make this a replay of all 3ds pokemon games, I never got around to replaying XY before ZA, and ORAS also sounds pretty good right now

I think the DLC confirmed it, but Legends ZA might just be the best Pokemon game when it comes to involving the strong “gym leader” type characters in the plot and giving them extra content outside of their story battles.

It’s American Thanksgiving, and I’m thankful for this cool shiny hunting community I can be a part of. I’m pretty shit at making friends, but it’s cool to have some fellow Pokemon fans with a shared interest.

Doing bench resets just outside zone 18, after around 300 I decided to go check the bugs nearby and got shiny alpha Kakuna! Helps with my current goal of a shiny mega dex. (Then while taking pictures a shiny Weedle sparkled lol)

Good lord is climbing the ranked ladder so much more enjoyable in this game compared to previous Pokemon games, at least for me personally.
(Probably because there’s not as much strategy involved so I can just slam my head against it until I win lol)

I know it’s objectively more convenient as a game mechanic, but I kinda miss the era where Pokemon had to find a way to add a special magnetic field, ice and mossy rocks, and a box of appliances to every new region for evos and stuff. It’s just kinda fun having more unique places to evolve idk
