Thanks! Yeah, I voice some of the students in the college map, and the senator's son in the Sins of The Father mission. So if you ever want to hear what it sounds like for me to be hit with tear gas, tased, or scream with pure terror you can always try it LOL

I tried it earlier, and the recommendations are good, def better than YouTube's, but it only has direct integration with spotify, so you need their app or browser extension to track YouTube. But it's neat cause they also have plugins for offline music apps to get stats from downloaded music.

I've heard last.fm has pretty good recommendations, and you can connect it to spotify to use your existing spotify listening activity to get recommended stuff.

Merry Christmas everyone, and happy holidays! I hope you're all having a fantastic time with family or friends, or at the very least just having a good day.

Detailed behind the scenes stuff like this, showing the process and the care going into filmmaking and art is the antidote to AI slop. I need WAY more of this.

Genuinely a really interesting video. I love how much Freddie cares about the history and artistry behind something as simple as a takeout menu, and all of the people connected to it. This is the reason art is made π₯Ή

As far as I know, DLSS does something like this, but every implementation of DLSS seems to just apply scaling to the entire frame without being targeted about it, and it always ends up looking worse and feeling higher latency, so I turn it off.

Just tell it what aliasing looks like, what anti-aliasing should look like, and only have it affect the parts of the image that are aliased so it isn't slathering the entire screen with upscaling or creating blurry ghosting.

Is there an anti-aliasing method that utilizes some kind of "AI" to target sharp edges based on their relative angle to the camera and generate fake multisampling? TAA is blurry and smeary, DLSS is the nuclear option and FXAA barely does anything. This would be one of the few good uses of AI.

That said, there is one pair of headphones I had that were both bassy and open back, but I enjoyed for a lot of stuff because they were so warm sounding, Koss Porta Pros. They're little unassuming buggers but they sound phenomenal for anything that would similarly benefit from being on vinyl.

Every time I'm testing out a new pair of headphones, the first thing I bring up is something with violin in it, usually Lindsey Sterling, because if the trebel isn't sparkly and crisp on violin, they're basically useless to me.

As someone who grew up listening to mainly electronic music, in the car or through earbuds on a coby thumb-drive mp3 player, I take headphone recommendation with a grain of salt because I usually don't like open back, or lots of bass. I like the music to sound like it's beamed directly into my brain

The White House family theater. Converted in 1942 from what was originally a cloakroom when the east wing was built in 1902. Over 123 years old, gone now.

Hot take: seeing a movie in Imax is a worse experience most of the time than just seeing it in one of those dolby deluxe laser screenings. The few times I've opted for Imax I didn't like it as much.

I honestly feel like the sheer amount that Trump has eroded political conduct and decency should be considered criminal. A supposed leader normalizing this kind of insane and gross behavior is setting the worst possible example.

After how lame season 3 and the Ahsoka series were, and all the crap Disney's up to lately, I'm probably not gonna watch it anyway, but I am fascinated by the idea that they pulled an "Atlantis: Milo's Return" and converted a collection of episodes into a feature film.

I get the feeling the mandalorian and grogu movie is an attempt at stitching an unfinished season 4 into a film. A lot of the CGI in the trailer looks unfinished, and the logo looks like it was Photoshopped at the last minute.
